Digital Fabrication Project Launch Event
When: Wednesday 29 or Thursday 30 July 2015
Where: The BBC, Quays House, MediaCityUK
What time: 9 am for a 10 am start each day
You are warmly invited to come and discover more about digital fabrication. Listen to expert speakers and take part in workshops that will introduce you to the possibilities of this technology. See 3D printers in action and explore what you could make. The launch event is FREE to attend. You can bring a friend, family member or carer. Refreshments will be provided and we can pay your travel expenses where this is necessary to meet your access needs.
You will also have the opportunity to find out more about the project, and how you can sign up for mobile ‘FabLab’ opportunities running from September to November in neighbourhoods around Salford, including Eccles, Swinton, Walkden and Irlam.
We are holding our launch event at the BBC twice, so you need only attend ONE date: Wednesday 29 OR Thursday 30 July 2015.
